The three-pillar “RAD method” is a powerful mindset transformation to live with purpose and meaning, to set high goals and push mental and physical boundaries.

RAD stands for:

  • Adventurous: Create YOUR sustainable path
  • Daring: Break mental barriers

REAL – Believe in yourself and your abilities

Be yourself. Accept and appreciate yourself. It starts within YOU to set the right goals and have the passion to pursue it. Especially in nowadays world of perfectionism we often chase an unreachable image and forget who we actually are. But living authentically is the foundation to self-belief – an absolute necessity to achieve our goals!

This principle is not called “your perfect success path” because it doesnt exist.

Every journey to reach our goal should be considered as an adventure for two reasons. First, when we go for an adventure, we enjoy it.

It is important to enjoy the journey, because it means that we feel aligned with it. When we feel aligned, hiccups will not throw us off our game. We don’t easily give up on something that we enjoy.  Enjoying the journey is also important because we are using our precious time to reach it. Think of those who are making themselves suffer so much and long, only to be able to retire rich! Yes, the end goal is desirable but you were just losing 20 or more years of your precious life. And if the suffering caused health issues, mental disorders and social disengagements, your goal of being rich is accompanied with serious health issues, loneliness and depression. Is it that worth it?

Second, every adventure is imperfect because it has unpredictable experiences along the way and some of them are challenges that we must overcome. If we embrace the fact that not everything runs always perfect, we will not be thrown off by “hiccups”. It is part of it!

Unless we take that daring step of going for it, our goals will always stay dreams. Instead, we should consider every step towards our goal as success because we gain connections, experiences, expertise, opportunities and knowledge along the way. Even if we do not reach our pre-defined goal for some reason, we have created so many successes along the way that it was worth the journey! And at the end of the day – that is what life is all about!
