Daring – 3rd pillar of the RAD method
Hello wonderful RAD human,
Here we are talking about the third pillar: Daring
This article is especially for you if you don’t pursue your goals because you fear you would fail, if you solely define success by achieving your goal and if it stresses you out making decisions.
Daring is the differentiator between dreaming and making dreams reality. Daring means taking the steps necessary to go for your goals. Daring means overcoming any mental barriers like fear of failure or the unknown that could keep you away from reaching it.
One of the most important mindset shifts for this pillar is to understand that life is pretty darn short. When you are 90 years old and look back at your life….would you regret the decision you don’t take today? Most of the times, we regret the decisions we didn’t take than the decision you do take. And trust me, I speak from experience. I have taken some very drastic life decisions like deciding between a career-aspiring job at the World Bank or trying to become a professional cyclist. Looking back I am so glad for taking decisions and not letting life take the decisions for me. (My book has inspired others to make that daring step, so you might want to check it out. ;)).
So, this exercise might come as a surprise to you but you will see what its aim is very quickly.
So, what’s next?
